Sun Blazes Above

The film we wrote was one thing. On set, it became something else. And in the edit, it found yet another shape. That was the biggest lesson I learned: the story keeps rewriting itself.

It follows a boy whose family is bullied by a local gangster. Just as he finally finds the courage to stand up — the gangster is taken down by a stranger.

This was my short film debut. The crew were first-timers, friends who jumped in with heart and hustle. The result is rough in parts, but honest — the process was a thrill from start to finish. Filmmaking has always been a quiet obsession. I plan to keep going.
